Tatiana

Tatiana is a performing artist with phenomenal soprano that brought her internationally acclaimed name. She sings a variety of styles from early European and Asian music, the songs of baroque, Renaissance and traditional music.

Tatiana's inspiration comes from the eternal roots of these ancient melodies. She implements these melodies in unique arrangements, using various instruments and innovative composition techniques. Enhancing this way their beauty, Tatiana carefully preserves at the same time the energy and flavor of these songs.

Tatiana's music is different from the mainstream. It is very unique. Nobody before her had translated and performed traditional Russian and Gypsy material in this innovative key. From their first encounter with Tatiana's music listeners recognize the great talent. When she performs on stage the public gets enchanted. Tatiana presents her act so gracefully, with such a deep understanding of the original material that nobody in the audience remains untouched. Even though most of this music is in the original language, it's not uncommon that people reach highest levels of compassion, become very emotional and even cry. Many say that Tatiana reaches those parts of their souls that are seldom reached by the other artists.

Tatiana doesn't take credit for this. She thinks that like a musical instrument, she delivers something bigger than herself - the sounds of universal harmony and love, and therefore this special music reaches our souls - no matter what language we speak. Tatiana is happy that her multilingual compositions bring people of different ethnical backgrounds together.

Are you ready for some "classy" Russian songs?

Born in Russia and raised by her grandmother in the vast Russian plains she absorbed the grandeur and solemnity of traditional Russian music since the early childhood.

From age 6 she started her music education and by the age 22 she became an accomplished musician, classical singer and conductor with the master's degree in academic choral conducting and vocal. By 25 she had a soaring career as a lyrical soprano, conducting a professional chorus on Russian television in Moscow, and touring the former Eastern European countries.

Having been a soloist in major Russian and American professional academic choruses ("Moscow Female Chorus", "Moscow Chamber Chorus", "Academic Chorale of Moscow University of Music and Culture", and in the U.S. - "Saint Louis Chamber Chorus" directed by Philip Barns) she now performs accompanied by the group of wonderful, classically trained musicians who share her passion towards these musical styles.

Tatiana's career in America started recently. Last year the American public had a chance to see her wonderful performances in The Metropolitan Performing Arts Center ("The Met"), Spokane, Washington, and in The Panida Theatre in Sandpoint, Idaho. Recently she appeared in The Cutter Theatre, Metaline Falls, Washington, where she was wholeheartedly embraced by the American and Canadian audiences .

Her shows are full of energy. They are always received very warmly by the public, and favorably reviewed in the media.
