#SW-1 & #SW3
Five of the seven remaining plants from this group bloomed in 2004 and 2 were interesting enough to continue working with. The blue SW1 (now registered as IZZIT and introduced Spring 2005) shows smaller blooms than its Siberian mother SKY WINGS but the amount and length of bloom was simply amazing. Wonderfully fertile with quite a few seedlings showing some sibtosa features.
The form of SW3 is classic species Siberian but the color is an unusual translucent dappled lavender. This one doesn't set as much seed as SW1 and what was produced is 1/4 the size of the Siberian seeds. A small group of seedlings proved to be near copies of the parent.
