It finally bloomed in 2005.


The strongly ribbed leaves belong to a neighboring iris. This seedling shows a strong rib only at the base. Substance is heavy with a waxy finish and the bloom is slightly oversized compared to Siberians.


The only other seedling to come from this cross carried a strong JI-type rib in all of its leaves. It did not survive being buried in hail after unseasonably warm weather in the spring of 2002. Both seedlings were from the same pod.
