Almost the entire thickness of the bark layer from a salvaged birch tree was used in making this small folded basket. This thickness makes it as strong as possible for a basket of this nature.

The edge of the basket is 4 layers thick and stitched tighly with heavy waxed nylon as are the ends. 8 1/4" long x 3" deep x 5 1/2" tall.
