The standards are slightly more obvious than those of the setosa and show a rounded rather than a pointed end. Signal is setosa shaped with a sharp point at the bottom. Pattern is very busy with purple lines and spots on a yellow ground with only a thin margin of cream at the lower edge.

Falls are extremely reflexed. They open very dark purple and lighten slightly as they mature; Standards are rose-pink; Stylearms are purple fading to white at the lower edges. Anthers are white heavily brushed purple with white pollen.

Height is 20 1/2" (The setosa tops out at 10"). Foliage color is mid-green to yellow-green. 2 terminal buds plus 1 to 2 branches. 14 fans and 3 stems.
