The International Selkirk Loop is a scenic route, which leads a path through Idaho, Washington and British Columbia. It winds through two national forest, several towns and villages, two Indian Reservations, and even includes a 6-mile long free ferry ride! The route is 280 miles long and can be traveled within a day or throughout a year. All along the way there are access points to many lakes, rivers and streams, campgrounds, forests, historic sites, wildlife viewing areas, and quaint communities nestled within the Selkirk Mountains, offering unique, natural, cultural and recreational opportunities. |
