- No animals unloaded before vet inspection. Please have your vet inspection slip ready for the vet to sign. Animals will not be stalled without them. All animals must be on the grounds be 7:00pm Wednesday.
- All female goats must have a scrapies individual identification tag or tattoo or microchip. Any breeder can obtain the tags or herd numbers for tattooing from the Washington State Dept. of Agriculture VS Office at 1-866-873-2824. The tags are free.
- Each exhibitor will give personal hands-on care and supervision to all animals at least 60 days prior to the Fair, or the life of the animal.
- No horns allowed, except wool and novelty breeds. See Rule 12.
- Any animals showing signs of infection or contagious disease must and will be rejected.
- No more than 2 entries per class.
- Friday night milk-out for dairy goats no earlier than 6:30pm. All milking does must be totally milked at this time.
- Open, 4-H and FFA divisions may be combined at the superintendent's discretion.
- No BUCKS will be entered in any goat class.
- Wethers in the FOR SALE division (Division 1, Class 12) must be under one year and at least 50 lb. They may be any breed or crossbreed. The judge will pick up to three TOP WETHERS FOR SALE.
- Dam and Daughter, Get of Sire, Best 3 Females, Herd Improvement and Fitting and Showing are listed in Department Q Contests. Any youth entering a livestock animal at the Fair MUST enter and participate in the appropriate showmanship contest.
- Unmanageable animals will be removed from the grounds by: Overall Livestock Superintendents, Barn Superintendents or Judges.
