Animal entries should be made on a separate form and mailed to Ann Elliott, 225 Wildrose Lane, Cusick, WA 99119 by July 15. All 4-H and FFA animal entry forms must be signed by the member's leader or advisor. Open Youth animal entry forms must be signed by a responsible adult.

GENERAL RULES

  1. Dogs must have current DHL and Parvo and Corona virus shots and Rabies shots and must have a certificate so stating. Bring proof of vacci­nation on day of show.
  2. Dogs must be cleaned and groomed, according to its specific breed.
  3. Dogs must be inspected by a veterinarian no earlier than 15 days before showing. Signed proof of inspection must be turned in to the Superinten­dent prior to show time. Show time is scheduled for 9:00am Friday. Fair Vet may inspect dogs on Wednesday.
  4. Handlers and their dogs must check in at the Fairgrounds no later than 8:00am Friday and will be on the grounds for at least 7 hours.
  5. Dogs must be kept on a lead or leash while on the Fairgrounds, except during off-lead, heel-free competition. Show dogs allowed on Fairgrounds on Friday ONLY. Dogs may be kept at campsites or sent home after the exhibit is over.
  6. All handlers must participate in Herdsmanship and be responsible for themselves and their animals. This includes any and all equipment needed to show your dog.
  7. All youth handlers must show in Fitting and Showing and in Obedience. The Superintendent must clear any exceptions. Fitting & Showing listed in Department Q.
  8. Any dog causing problems will be disqualified and excused from the Fairgrounds.
  9. No bitches in season are allowed.
  10. Appropriate dress for Fitting and Showing Dog exhibitors is as follows:
    • Girls - skirt, dress or nice slacks
    • Boys - nice slacks, shirt and tie
    • Appropriate clean walking shoes
    • 4-H Members will wear white long-sleeved shirts and green ties for Fitting and Showing.
  11. Top blue ribbon Fitting and Showing exhibitor will be eligible to enter the Round Robin Showing Contest.
  12. Unmanageable animals will be removed from the grounds by Overall Livestock Superintendents, Barn Superintendents or Judges.

DIVISION 1 (4-H) Primary, K - 2 nd grade
DIVISION 2 (4-H) Junior, 8 yr. or 3 rd   - 5 th grades
DIVISION 3 (4-H) Intermediate, 6 th   - 8 th   grades.
DIVISION 4 (4-H) Senior, 9 th   - 12 th grades.

    Includes heel, figure 8, stand for exam, one minute sit and three minute down
  2. Novice - Heel and figure 8 on leash, remainder is off leash. Stand for exam, heel free, recall, one minute sit and three minute down
  3. Graduate Novice - All off Leash
    Heel and figure 8, stand for exam, drop on recall, retrieve on flat, three minute sit and five minute down with handler out of sight
  4. Open Y - All off Leash
    Heel, Figure 8, stand for exam, drop on recall, retrieve on flat, three-minute sit, five minute down with handler out of sight
  5. Agility Course

Points for Clases 6 and 7:  Blue15, Red 10, White 5

  1. Costume Competition will take place on site. Dogs may enter on day of Dog Show. Contact your leader or super­intendent for details.
