GENERAL RULES

  1. Cats must have current feline distemper shots and a certificate so stating. Cats must be vaccinated against feline panleukopenia, rhinotracheitis calici, leukemia viruses and chlamydia. BRING PROOF OF VACCINATION on the day of the show. All 4-H and FFA animal entry forms must be signed by the member's leader or advisor. Open Youth animal entry forms must be signed by a responsible adult.
  2. Cats must have vet inspection on Wednesday from 2:00pm to 7:00pm. Please have your vet inspection slip ready for the vet to sign. Animals will not be stalled without them. Decision of the vet will be final.
  3. Cats will check in at the Fairgrounds show area at 10:00am Friday and be caged until show time at 2:00pm. Cats will stay on Fairgrounds until 5:00pm, then taken home.
  4. Except during the actual cat show, cats must remain in cages or carrying containers with water, litter box and food. CATS MUST BE IN AN H-TYPE HARNESS (no collars).
  5. Exhibitors are responsible for the care of their cats while on the fairgrounds. Someone must be on duty at all times while cats are on display.
  6. Exhibitors may enter one or more cats, but the cats must be entered in separate classes for conformation.
  7. No pregnant or nursing cats
  8. All cat cages must have windows large enough that the cat is in full view at all times. No covering allowed draped over cages hiding cats.
  9. All youth exhibitors must show in Fitting and Showing, Dept. Q. Fitting and Showing Cat exhibitors shall wear long sleeved white shirt, blue or black jeans or slacks.   4-H members are to have green tie.
  10. All cats entered in the Purebred division must show proof of papers.

Top Blue Ribbon Fitting and Showing exhibitor will be eligible to enter the Round Robin Showing Contest.
