BALL® FreshPreservingTM AWARD

For YOUTH LEVEL presented by

BALL® & KERR® FreshPreserving™ PRODUCTS

In recognition of youth who excel in the art of fresh preserving (canning), Jarden Home Brands, maker of Ball(R) and Kerr® FreshPreserving™ Products, will present First Place Awards in designated recipe categories.

A panel of judges will select the best entry submitted by a youth in Fruit, Vegetable, Pickle and Soft Spread categories. Entries must be preserved in Ball® or Ball® Collection Elite® Jars sealed with Ball® Lids and Bands or Ball® Collection Elite® Decorative Lids and Bands, or preserved in Kerr® Jars sealed with Kerr® Lids and Bands or Ball® Collection Elite® Decorative Lids and Bands. In addition, soft spread entries will be limited to recipies prepared using Ball® Pectin: Original, No Sugar Needed or Liquid. A proof of purchase for Ball ® Pectin must be provided at the time of entry.

The best entry from each category will receive: Two (2) $5.00 coupons for Ball© or Kerr® FreshPreserving™ Products.

WASHINGTON ASSOCIATION OF WHEAT GROWERS AWARD

WILTON
Wilton Enterprises will award the following:

To the two "Best of Division" winners, Wilton will award one of two prizes: 1- Choice of one of four videos on cake decorating; 2- One set of three books on cake decorating. The winners will also receive a current Wil­ton yearbook of Cake Decorating and a "Best of Division" certificate. If no "Best of Division" winner, judge will award prizes at own discretion. The winner of this award will be an adult. The youth award is in the 4-H Department.
